- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3.5-4 pound pork roast
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 bay leaf
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, oregano, thyme, and parsley.
- Rub olive oil all over the pork roast, then rub the creole seasoning mixture into the roast.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork roast and cook until browned on all sides, about 8 minutes.
- Transfer to a roasting pan. Add the onion, chicken broth, white wine, tomatoes, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and bay leaf to the roasting pan.
- Cover the roasting pan with aluminum foil and roast until the pork is cooked through, about 2 hours.
- Serve hot.
