Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 4 slices prosciutto
  • 1/2 cup shredded Fontina cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Add chicken to skillet and cook for 3 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
  4. Transfer chicken to a baking dish. Sprinkle garlic and sage over chicken.
  5. Top each chicken breast with a slice of prosciutto. Sprinkle with cheese.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve over a bed of wild rice or mashed potatoes.
