Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup Irish cream liqueur
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the cocoa and sugar. Add the eggs one at a time, stirring the mixture after each egg.
- Stir in the vanilla, flour, and salt. Gradually stir in the Irish cream liqueur. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the chocolate chips over low heat. Spread over the cooled brownies.
- Let cool before cutting into squares.
