Ingredients
1 cup masa harina (corn flour)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup warm water
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Directions
In a medium bowl, mix together the masa harina, salt, and warm water until a stiff dough forms.
Knead the dough for 5 minutes, then cover with a damp cloth and let it sit for 10 minutes.
Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and roll each one into a ball.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, and add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
Take one of the dough balls and flatten it out into a circle using your hands.
Place the flattened dough into the hot skillet and cook for 1 minute, then flip and cook for another minute until lightly browned.
Repeat with the remaining dough balls, adding more oil as needed.
Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
