Ingredients
- 1 cup of carrots, diced
- 1 cup of broccoli, diced
- 2 tablespoons of butter or olive oil
- 1/4 cup of water
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, heat the butter or olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the diced carrots and broccoli, and sauté for 5 minutes until lightly browned.
- Add the water and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, until the carrots and broccoli are tender.
- Carefully remove the saucepan from the heat and transfer the contents to a blender or food processor. Puree until smooth.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
