- 4 large apples, peeled and cored
- 2 tablespoons vegan butter, melted
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

- 1/4 cup vegan margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease a 9-inch square baking dish with vegan butter.
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
- Stuff each apple with the sugar mixture and place in the baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, vegan margarine, oats, and sugar until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the crumb mixture over the apples, then pour the melted vegan butter over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
