Ingredients
- 1 lb of frog legs
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup of white wine
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter and olive oil together over medium-high heat.
- Add the frog legs and cook until they are golden brown, about 4 minutes.
- Add the onion and garlic and continue cooking for another 3 minutes.
- Add the white wine, brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, and thyme and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the frog legs hot with the caramelized sauce.
