- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon butterscotch extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a medium bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and butterscotch extract. Stir until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan and spread the batter evenly. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
