Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cold butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup ice water
- 3 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- In a medium bowl, combine the flour, butter, and salt and mix until crumbly.
- Add the ice water and mix until a dough forms.
- Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface and cut into small circles.
- Place the circles in the bottom of the jars and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, combine the blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and vanilla and mix until combined.
- Spoon the blueberry filling into the jars.
- Place the lids on the jars and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 25-30 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
- Allow to cool before serving.
