Ingredients
- 200g almond meal
- 200g powdered sugar
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 25 whole almonds

- In a large bowl, combine the almond meal and powdered sugar.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the almond mixture.
- Add the almond extract and mix until well combined.
- Cover the dough and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 320°F (160°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Take small portions of the dough and roll them into small balls.
- Press one whole almond into the top of each ball to create a decoration.
- Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet.
