Ingredients
- 1 NY Strip Steak, cut 1-inch thick
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (such as parsley, thyme, oregano, etc)
Directions
- In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic, sea salt, black pepper, and fresh herbs.
- Brush the steak with the olive oil mixture, making sure to coat both sides of the steak.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan to high heat.
- Place the steak on the grill or grill pan and cook for 3 minutes on each side, for medium-rare.
- Remove the steak from the grill or grill pan and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
