Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 cups of milk
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon of peppermint extract
- Whipped cream, for garnish
- Candy canes, for garnish
Directions
- In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the chocolate chips, milk, cinnamon, sugar, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract. Stir often until the chocolate chips are completely melted.
- Bring the mixture to a low boil, stirring constantly until it is smooth and thickened. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for one minute.
- Pour the cocoa into mugs and top with whipped cream and a candy cane for garnish.
