Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon of peppermint extract
  • Whipped cream, for garnish
  • Candy canes, for garnish

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the chocolate chips, milk, cinnamon, sugar, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract. Stir often until the chocolate chips are completely melted.
  2. Bring the mixture to a low boil, stirring constantly until it is smooth and thickened. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for one minute.
  3. Pour the cocoa into mugs and top with whipped cream and a candy cane for garnish.
  4. Enjoy!
