Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 3-4 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together the melted butter and sugar. Add the eggs, and beat until fluffy. Stir in the mashed bananas, and vanilla extract.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet, and mix until all ingredients are incorporated. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, and bake for 55 minutes to 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool before slicing.
