In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in lemon juice and lemon zest. Add the flour mixture in small batches and stir until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the loaf comes out clean.
Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
