- 2 pounds beef, cubed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

- 1 teaspoon salt

- 1 (4 ounce) can diced green chiles
- 1 (4 ounce) can diced jalapenos
- 1 cup beef broth
Directions
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the beef and onion, and cook until the beef is browned, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the garlic, cumin, oregano, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in the chiles and jalapenos. Pour in the beef broth, and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve over rice or tortillas.
