Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup mashed ripe banana (about 1 large)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 pre-made graham cracker pie crust
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mashed ripe banana (about 1 large)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, sour cream and vanilla extract with an electric mixer until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating just until blended.
  2. Add mashed banana, cinnamon, and nutmeg; beat just until blended. Pour into prepared crust.
  3. Bake for 25 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool completely on a wire rack.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form. Gently fold in mashed banana.
  5. Spoon the banana cream mixture over the cooled cheesecake.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
