  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 baguettes, cut into 4-inch sections
  • Ketchup, mustard, and pickles for topping, optional

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well with your hands. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and form into small patties.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Place the patties in the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until the patties are cooked through and no longer pink in the middle.
  3. Cut the baguettes into 4-inch sections. Place the cooked patties on the baguettes and top with ketchup, mustard, and pickles, if desired.
  4. Serve immediately and enjoy!
