Directions
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well with your hands. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and form into small patties.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Place the patties in the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until the patties are cooked through and no longer pink in the middle.
Cut the baguettes into 4-inch sections. Place the cooked patties on the baguettes and top with ketchup, mustard, and pickles, if desired.
