Ingredients
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
In a large bowl, beat butter, sugars and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg until combined.
Gradually add in flour mixture and mix until just combined.
Stir in cherries and cornflakes until evenly distributed.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto parchment-lined baking sheets.
Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown.
Allow to cool completely before enjoying.
