  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup milk


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Add the milk and mix until a soft dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for a few minutes.
  6. Form the dough into a ball and place onto a greased baking sheet.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
