Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, ginger, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined.
  3. Place salmon fillets in a greased baking dish. Brush the spice mixture onto the salmon fillets. Bake for 15 minutes.
  4. While the salmon is baking, make the glaze. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, and lemon juice. Mix until combined.
  5. Once the 15 minutes is up, brush the glaze onto the salmon fillets. Bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and serve.
