Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1 avocado, diced
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Directions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground turkey and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until it is no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
- Add the garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes.
- Stir in the cilantro. Remove the pan from the heat and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix together the sour cream and avocado. Set aside.
- Lay the tortillas on a work surface. Divide the turkey mixture among the tortillas, spreading it to within 1 inch of the edges. Top with the avocado cream sauce and the cheese.
- Fold the sides of the tortillas over the filling and roll up burrito-style.
- Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the burritos to the pan and cook until golden brown and crisp, about 3 minutes per side.
- Serve warm.
