Ingredients
- 3 cups of semolina
- 3 cups of water
- 1/2 teaspoon of anise seeds
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of milk
- Salt to taste
Directions
- In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Once boiling, add the semolina and stir until it is fully incorporated.
- Reduce the heat to low and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the anise seeds, honey, ground ginger, and ground cinnamon and mix to combine.
- Add the milk and stir until the soup is creamy and thick. Add salt to taste.
- Serve the soup warm.
