In a large bowl, combine water, 1/4 cup sugar, and yeast. Allow to stand for 10 minutes or until foamy.
Stir in the melted butter, eggs, flour, salt, and cinnamon until dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and allow to rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
Punch down dough and roll into a rectangle. Spread with the melted butter, and sprinkle with the remaining sugar and cinnamon.
Roll up dough and cut into 12 slices. Place in a greased 9x13-inch baking pan.
Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool before serving.
