Ingredients
- 1 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine water, 1/4 cup sugar, and yeast. Allow to stand for 10 minutes or until foamy.
- Stir in the melted butter, eggs, flour, salt, and cinnamon until dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and allow to rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Punch down dough and roll into a rectangle. Spread with the melted butter, and sprinkle with the remaining sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll up dough and cut into 12 slices. Place in a greased 9x13-inch baking pan.
- Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Cool before serving.
