- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 cup toasted almonds, chopped
- 1/4 cup confectioners’ sugar
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the almond extract.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix until a dough forms. Add the chopped almonds and mix until well combined.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch (2.5 cm) balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes. Roll the cooled cookies in the confectioners’ sugar and serve.
