Dynamite Sauce
Ingredients
4 apples, peeled, cored and chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
½ cup white vinegar
½ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground coriander
½ teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, chopped
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Salt to taste
Directions
In a large saucepan, combine the apples, onion, garlic, vinegar, sugar, ginger, cinnamon, coriander, cumin, thyme, cayenne pepper and salt.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are soft and the liquid has reduced.
Remove from heat and let cool.
Transfer to a food processor and pulse until you achieve your desired consistency.
Transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
