Ingredients

  • 1 lb. raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/3 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper. Mix until evenly blended.
  2. Pour buttermilk into a separate bowl.
  3. Dip each shrimp into the buttermilk, then into the flour mixture, making sure to coat both sides evenly.
  4. Place the shrimp in an air fryer basket and spray lightly with oil.
  5. Cook at 375 degrees F for 8 minutes, flipping the shrimp halfway through.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and serve hot.
