- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened

- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In a large bowl, beat butter and both sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs 1 at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- Gradually stir in flour mixture, then oats and raisins until just combined.
- Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake until golden brown, about 12 minutes. Let cool on baking sheets for 1 minute, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
