Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2/3 cup milk

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Stir in melted butter and milk until a soft dough forms.
  4. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for a few minutes until a smooth dough forms.
  5. Roll dough out into a circle about 1/2-inch thick.
  6. Transfer to a greased baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
