Ingredients
- 1/2 gallon apple cider
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1/4 cup brandy (optional)
Directions
- In a large saucepan, combine the apple cider, brown sugar, cinnamon, allspice, and ginger. Simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the orange slices and brandy, if desired, and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Pour the wassail punch into mugs and serve.
