Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 (9-inch) prepared graham cracker crust
- 1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch and salt.
- Stir in the pineapple and butter.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Pour into the prepared graham cracker crust.
- Spread the frozen whipped topping over the top of the pie.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
