Ingredients

  • 4 large apples, peeled, cored, and cut into 1/2-inch cubes

  • 1/4 teaspoon of kosher salt

Directions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the apples, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt. Stir to combine.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
