Ingredients
- 2 pounds of pork shoulder, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of lemongrass, minced
- 2 tablespoons of fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Wooden skewers
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the pork cubes, garlic, lemongrass, fish sauce, brown sugar, and vegetable oil. Season with salt and pepper, then stir to combine.
- Thread the pork cubes onto the skewers, making sure to leave some space between each one. Place the skewers on a plate, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Heat an outdoor grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Place the skewers onto the grill and cook, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and lightly charred, about 10 minutes.
- Serve the skewers with steamed rice or noodles, if desired.
