Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 head of red cabbage, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of chili flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, add the beef and cook over medium-high heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add the red cabbage and garlic to the skillet and cook until the cabbage is softened, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Add the fish sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and chili flakes (if using) to the skillet and stir to combine.
  4. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  5. Serve the beef and red cabbage in bowls.
