Favorite Apple Galette
Ingredients
1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1/4 cup white wine
1/4 cup vegetable broth
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Directions
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the onion and garlic and sauté until the onion is soft, about 3 minutes.
Add the bell peppers and sauté for another 3 minutes.
Add the shrimp and cook until they are pink and just cooked through, about 5 minutes.
Pour in the white wine and vegetable broth, and bring to a simmer.
Stir in the oregano, basil, salt, and pepper, and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Serve with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
