Ingredients
1/2 head of cabbage, shredded
1/2 onion, diced
1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup vegetable stock
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon caraway seeds
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 pound egg noodles
Directions
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the onion and garlic and sauté until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add the cabbage and sauté for another 5 minutes.
Add the vegetable stock, paprika, caraway seeds, salt, and pepper and stir well.
Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and simmer for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, bring a pot of salted water to a boil over high heat.
Add the egg noodles and cook for 8 minutes, or until al dente.
Drain the noodles and add them to the skillet with the cabbage mixture.
Stir well and cook until the noodles are heated through, about 2 minutes.
Serve hot.
