Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup salted peanuts
  • 1 cup pretzels, broken into pieces

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips, peanuts, and pretzels.
  6. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
