4 cups sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
Place sweet potatoes in a large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes, or until tender. Drain and transfer to a large bowl.
In a separate bowl, combine butter, white sugar, brown sugar, cream, cinnamon, and salt. Pour over the sweet potatoes and stir until combined.
In a small bowl, mix together the chopped pecans and flour. Sprinkle over the sweet potato mixture.
Transfer the sweet potato mixture to the prepared baking dish. Bake for 40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown.
