Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash bananas with a fork until almost smooth.
- Mix in melted butter, sugar, egg, vanilla, baking soda and salt. Beat until well blended.
- Stir in flour until just blended. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
- Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
- Let cool in pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
