  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they start to soften and release their moisture.
  5. Add the snow peas to the skillet and continue stir-frying for another 2-3 minutes until they turn bright green and are tender-crisp.
  6. Pour the stir-fry sauce over the vegetables in the skillet, stirring to evenly coat them. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the vegetables.
