Ingredients

  • 1 spiral-cut ham
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Place the spiral-cut ham in a roasting pan.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine the pineapple juice, minced chipotle peppers, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture has thickened slightly, about 10 minutes.
  4. Pour half of the glaze over the ham, making sure to get it between the slices. Reserve the remaining glaze for basting.
  5. Cover the ham with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
  6. Remove the foil and baste the ham with the remaining glaze.
  7. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (204°C) and bake uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the glaze is caramelized and the ham is heated through.
  8. Let the ham rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
