Ingredients

- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/4 cabbage, chopped

- 1 (14-ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

- Add the turmeric, chili powder, and onion and cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the cabbage and garlic and cook until the cabbage is softened, about 8 minutes.

- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over cooked rice or naan.
