Ingredients
1 pound tri-tip steak, cut into cubes

Directions
In a large pot, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add the cubed tri-tip steak and cook until browned. Remove from the pot.
Add the chopped onions to the pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the chili beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and black pepper to the pot. Stir to combine.
Add the cooked tri-tip steak to the pot and stir to combine.
Bring the chili to a boil, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
