2 bunches of fresh collard greens, washed and chopped
1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon of black pepper
Salt to taste
Directions
In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium-high heat until crispy. Remove bacon from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the garlic, collard greens, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt to taste. Cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until the greens are tender.
Add the bacon back to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Serve warm and enjoy!
