Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound lump crab meat
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3 cups chicken stock

Directions
- In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add the onion and garlic and sauté until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the flour and cook for an additional minute.
- Gradually stir in the chicken stock, whisking to avoid lumps.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and season with smoked paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Add the shrimp and crab and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
- Serve warm.
