Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Hamburger buns, for serving
Directions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook beef, onion and bell pepper until meat is browned. Drain off any excess fat.
- Stir in tomato sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt and pepper. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve on hamburger buns.
