Ingredients
- 1 pound of pasta of your choice
- 1 cup of frozen peas
- 1/2 cup of chopped red onion
- 1/2 cup of chopped bell pepper
- 1/2 cup of chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup of chopped fresh basil
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
Directions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the pasta and cook according to package directions.
- Add the frozen peas to the boiling pasta for the last 2 minutes of cooking.
- Strain the pasta and peas and rinse with cold water to cool.
- In a large bowl combine the pasta, peas, chopped red onion, bell pepper, parsley, and basil.
- In a small bowl combine the olive oil, vinegar, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk to combine.
- Pour the dressing over the salad and gently stir to combine.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
