Ingredients
- 1 pound of linguine pasta
- 1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the asparagus and garlic and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender.
- Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and stir to combine. Reduce the heat to medium and stir in the Parmesan cheese and cream.
- Cook the pasta for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.
