Ingredients

  • 1 pound of linguine pasta
  • 1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the asparagus and garlic and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender.
  3. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and stir to combine. Reduce the heat to medium and stir in the Parmesan cheese and cream.
  4. Cook the pasta for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.
