Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, diced
2 stalks celery, diced
2 carrots, diced
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

Add the garlic powder, paprika, thyme, and pepper, and cook for 1 minute more.
Add the chicken broth and cooked chicken, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and milk. Slowly add the flour mixture to the pot and stir until thickened. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the butter and stir until melted. Taste and adjust seasonings, if desired.
Serve hot with chopped parsley, if desired.
