Remove the sauce from the heat and stir in the cheese until melted. Add the cooked macaroni and stir until the macaroni is evenly coated.
Pour the macaroni and cheese into a greased 2-quart casserole dish. Sprinkle the top with the bread crumbs.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
