Ingredients
- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup Southern Comfort whiskey
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Place the cubed sweet potatoes on a baking sheet.
- Mix together the melted butter, Southern Comfort, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Pour the mixture over the sweet potatoes and stir until the potatoes are evenly coated.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring once or twice during baking, until sweet potatoes are tender.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped pecans. Serve warm.
